Roulette Winning Tips
When an experienced dealer spins the Roulette wheel and releases the ball with approximately the same speed it is called the dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If a number repeats often within 100 spins you may have found a biased wheel that can turn the house advantage around to your favor. A biased wheel is one of only two true opportunities to overcome the casino's advantage. There are special chips for playing the game of Roulette. The chips have to be bought before playing the game. Dont forget to exchange you Roulette chips for regular casino chips before you leave the Roulette table. When choosing a bet, try to avoid 5 number bets as the payback with these bets is much lower. 5 number bets have the house edge of 7.89%. If you have a choice play the European Roulette as the odds are more in your favor. When playing European Roulette dont forget about the Surrender option. When playing any game you must always stick to your own bank roll.

Roulette Table Description
The Online Roulette Table is pretty standard and universal. You have the 36 numbers and zero or zeroes laid out and around them you have the variety and assortment of outside bets which you can make. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. The color of the online roulette table is normally green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. The main feature is lower bet limits. If you have never played online Roulette before you should get acquainted with bet limits. Remember that different bets have different maximum limits. The betting table is divided into 2 areas: outside and inside area. The inside table allows you to bet on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers, while the outside table allows you to bet on non-numeric conditions. In either case, any number matching the bet triggers the win.

The inside table.

The inside table contains 3 columns of sequential numbers. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). The outside table is attached to the right or left side of the inside table. The minimum wager for bets in the inside area are shown on the table itself, and players can make bets lower than this minimum limit.

The outside table.

On the outside table there are special bets, which are not bets on numbers. There is a minimum limit for outside table bets. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy.

Roulette Wheel Construction
The weight of the wheel is a hundred pounds, the diameter is 3 feet. There are 36 numbers on the wheel and they are evenly divided among red and black pockets. The ball will land in one of the pockets. In addition to the 36 red and black pockets, there are either 1 or 2 green pockets, containing the number zero and double zero (00) on the roulette wheel. The numbers are not distributed in a random fashion. A balance between red and black, high and low, and odd and even is sought by the wheel makers. For every number on the wheel, directly across from it is the next highest even number. Black and red alternate, pairs of even numbers alternate with pairs of odd numbers (with 0 and 00 exceptions). This roulette wheel design is standard within the industry. A roulette dealer (usually referred to as "croupier") spins the wheel counterclockwise and releases what is usually a plastic ball along the track that runs along the top of the wheel's cavity. As the wheel loses velocity the ball is pulled down off of the track and bounces around until it settles into a pocket. There are a million small buffers and bumps to ensure that the ball is tossed around a good bit randomly before it finds a home.
