The first and the most common mistake is not setting a bank roll limit. When you go and visit a casino only take a certain amount of money with you for gambling purposes, and leave all your plastic cards at home. When you spend your entire bank roll move on and find something else to do, don't bother getting emotionally involved with the games you're playing because it's the quickest way to spend much more money! When you choose a certain game to play at the casino, you should know well in advance exactly how the game works and how to play it scientifically so you win more money. Sometimes players choose games they don’t know well enough and as a result they lose instead of winning. Different kinds of drinks are offered for free in some gambling houses. Drinking impairs your judgement and gets you emotionally involved within the game thus losing feels worse, and most importantly you won't be able to play using scientifically proven strategies that shrink the odds of the casino winning. The next most common mistake is drinking alcohol during the game. Try not to drink if you play or plan to play at the casino. In differebt casinos players win differently. Maybe you play in a wrong casino. You can always find a better casino with better odds, bonuses, promotions and conditions for players. Players who haven’t work out their own strategy of playing think that the way other gamblers play can help them to win. This is a very serious mistake. Play your own way and never stick to strategies of other gamblers.

The Online Roulette Table is pretty standard and universal. You have the 36 numbers and zero or zeroes laid out and around them you have the variety and assortment of outside bets which you can make. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. The color of the online roulette table is normally green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. It is important to denote that the roulette tables have lower bet limits; a player who doesn't know how to play needs to be aware of them. There are upper table limits as well, typically varying for every type of bet in a fixed proportion. The betting table has two parts: the inside and the outside. The inside table allows you to bet on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers, while the outside table allows you to bet on non-numeric conditions. In either case, any number matching the bet triggers the win.

The inside table.

The inside table is simply a table of sequential numbers, 3 columns each representing a dozen. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). The outside table is attached to the right or left side of the inside table. The sum of player's bets on the inner table must reach the table minimum, as declared on the table itself.

The outside table.

The outside table encompasses special bets - there are no numbers in this table. Any bet within the outside table must at least reach the lower table limit. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy.

The Martingale is the best-known roulette betting system. It varies greatly. You should follow such principle: if you win, then pocket your bet. If you lose, you should double your previous bet.If you win that will guarantee you get back your previous loss and one more unit. And so on.
The Martingale System works great only in case you have an infinite bankroll and no betting limits.
The d'Alembert system is also rather popular. The system is based on the assumption that after a win you are less likely to win again. So after a win, you subtract a chip from your bet. The d'Alembert system also assumes that you are less likely to lose after a losing spin, so in that case, you add a chip to your bet. The fact that the roulette wheel has no memory and each spin is an independent trial with exactly the same odds of a win or loss is the previous spin is a weak point of the system.

To win is the aim of roulette. The main rule of any sane player consists in calculating his odds and possibilities. The game of roulette is a kind of business. We invest money and expect to get gain.Even though we cannot exclude loss we hope to win. We hope to win despite we cannot exclude loss

Among all the casino games roulette is classic. In any full service casino in the United States besides blackjack and craps you'll find roulette which is more popular in France where it is historically a cultural part of the gambling scene. Roulette was popular in Europe since the 18th century and today it is played online all over the world.Roulette was played in Paris since 1796 and nowadays it almost has't changed. Multiple games gave birth to roulette. To make a modern roulette game an Italian ball game called "biribi" and another wheel game that involved colors but not numbers were combined. The English game "Roly-poly" which consisted of black and white slots was launched in 1720. Thus, roulette is a hybrid of both birib and Roly-poly.To understand a game is to enjoy it.Only in case you understand game you can enjoy it. And it's the amount of pleasure you take away from the tables but not your odds will increase due to the knowledge of the game.

One subject that always comes up when people discuss winning at roulette or getting an edge is the topic of biased roulette wheels. To really find a bias in a wheel, you'd need to clock at least 4000 spins and realistically speaking, you won't find a bias towards red or black. At best you'll find a bias toward a specific set of numbers.
Casinos don't want a biased wheel, because the house edge at roulette relies on the odds being 37 to 1 for each number over time. If certain individual numbers pay out more often than they should, the casino loses money. In this respect, a biased wheel isn't like a fixed game of blackjack. Casinos don't really have an interest in fixing any of their games since the house edge is in their favor on all of them. If you are able to find a biased wheel, you should bet individual numbers as much as you can. If you're in a rare situation where you have an advantage over the casino, you don't want to waste it on bets with low payouts.
Something related to wheel bias dealer signature. Some roulette dealers have been spinning the ball for so long that they do it in exactly the same manner. This produces a situation where some numbers might come up more often than other numbers.
Usually if you're looking for this type of advantage play it's best to find an older dealer who looks really bored. You don't want someone who's really young and just learning how to spin the wheel. You want someone who's spun it so many times that it's become automatic and predictable.
Since it would take about 4000 spins to determine with any degree of certainty any patterns on a roulette wheel, it would take a considerable amount of time to track that many spins. Realistically speaking, you might be better off learning to count cards or play poker really well instead of trying to get an advantage finding a biased wheel or a dealer with a signature.

In some casinos there exist some special rules.
In Prison/En prison
When the ball falls on zero, red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets will not be collected by the croupier - instead they will have to stay on the table - in other words they are in prison. The players can win their original bet back during the next spin;if their bet wins they get their original bets back without additional gain. If the ball should land on zero once again the bets will remain in prison one more spin and so on. As this special rule reduced the casinos edge, it's greatly to the advantage for the players.
La Partage
In case the ball stops at zero slot, the croupier will not fully collect red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets. Only half of the players’ bets will be collected - the rest will be returned to the players. As well as the In Prison rule, the La Partage rule also reduces the casinos edge to only 1.35 percent.

A well-known betting system in roulette is the Martingale system. There are a lot of variations of it. The main idea of the system is that when you win, you pocket your bet. If you lose, you should double your previous bet.By doing this in case you win, you get back your previous loss and one more unit. And so on.
The Martingale System works great only in case you have an infinite bankroll and no betting limits.

Craziest Gamblers

William Nelson Damborough was the most famous gambler of his time as he could predict the path of the ball. He managed to win ?64,000 in a single month. The pace of the wheel and the roulette game may have been more conducive then, but it would still require something of a human computer.

The Hornicks from Pennsylvania have proved to be the luckiest couple, when it comes to winning money. Last June the winning amount was $206,000 and and they won it in the lottery. $21,000 was won three weeks later. And they had previous lottery scores of $2.5 million in 1989 and $68,000 in 1997. There's more to their good monetary fortune: After their June lottery bonanza they visited the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City and between the two of them hit jackpots of $480 (twice), $980, and $1,375. They list other slot scores of $9,970, $10,700, and $2,000 in recent years. On their way to Florida they bought a lottery ticket at one of the gas stations and they won again! The winning was $6,673. According to Joe the secret of his win was a buck and a lot of luck.

Do you believe that a person can sell everything he has and put all his money on a single Roulette spin. The very thought of it might probably fills you with equal measures of excitement and fear. The very same feelings experienced by 32 year-old Ashley Revell, from London, when he did the unthinkable! Having sold everything he had Revell came to one of the Las Vegas casinos with $132,000 with an intention to place all his money on Red. Watched by a few good friends and family, all with their hearts in their mouths, the incredible happened when the roulette ball stuck on Red, netting a staggering $270,600! As Revell himself says before making his bet he thought of placing it on black.

Chris Boyd seemed to be the craziest gambler in history. In 1994 he decided to fulfill his dream in the casino of Las Vegas on the Roulette wheel. Chris had $220,000 and he wanted to bet it on one spin of the wheel. It took him much time to find in Las Vegas a casino, in which he could place such a bet. Having got refusals in most of the casinos Chris went to Binion’s Horseshoe Club, which was the last casino he visited. The maximum table bet on red/black bet in Horseshoe Club was $100,000, but they met him halfway and let him make this bet. The casino also agreed to block out the double-zero on the wheel as this didn’t exist in the European version of the game that Chris was used to playing. Chris chose to place his bet on red. The casino and the dealer agreed to a few practice spins to ensure that full fairness for everyone concerned, and then the big spin came. The ball was spinned and it landed in 7,red. Chris won $220,000 instantly, and asked for the money to be put into the casinos cage, and vowed never to gamble again.
