The first and the most common mistake is not setting a bank roll limit. When you go and visit a casino only take a certain amount of money with you for gambling purposes, and leave all your plastic cards at home. When all your entire bank roll is over leave the casino and don’y bother getting emotionally involved with the games you’re playing. The second and the most amusing mistake is that players don’t know the rules of the game they play. So, before going to the casino and playing any game make sure you know the rules, all possible bets and etiquette. The reason of losing can be the fact that players don’t know the game well enough. The casino loves to fill their guests and customers with free booze of all types and kinds. Drinking impairs your judgement and gets you emotionally involved within the game thus losing feels worse, and most importantly you won't be able to play using scientifically proven strategies that shrink the odds of the casino winning. The third mistake is drinking while playing casino games. Try not to drink if you play or plan to play at the casino. You might play in a wrong casino, which is the reason of your low profit. You can always find a better casino with better odds, bonuses, promotions and conditions for players. The last mistake is spread among new players. They don’t know well how to play and they believe that they can win if they stick to the strategy of other players. This is the most stupid mistake. Play your own way and never stick to strategies of other gamblers.

> Bets Playing Roulette
The game of European Roulette is played by spinning a small ball on a round wheel. There are thirty-seven slots on the wheel, all the slots are numbered. When the wheel stops, the ball stops in one of the slots. The object of European Roulette is to correctly predict the slot in which the ball will stop. The player wins if he has predicted the number right. The winning amount is dependable on the bet and the bet amount.

To specify a bet that does not equal to an existing chip denomination, simply click on another chip denomination after placing your previous chip on the table. For example, to bet , click on the chip and place it on the table then click on the chip and place it on top of the chip. If you want to repeat your last bet hit the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. Depending on where you choose to place your chips, you can bet on anywhere from one to eighteen numbers with a single bet. After placing bets you can spin the wheel. To spin the roulette wheel press the "Spin" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen or click on the roulette wheel. The Yellow numbers mean that they belong to the Black set of numbers, the Red numbers - to the Red set of numbers and the Green colored number is '0'. You can spin the wheel without putting a bet on the table by pressing the "Pass" button. You can place eight different kinds of bets on the European Roulette table. Each type of bet covers a certain range of numbers. Each bet has its own payoff rate. Rows are short lines of three numbers each. Columns are long lines with twelve numbers each. There exist inside and outside bets. Inside bets are made on the numbered space or on the lines between them. Outside bets are made on the special boxes below and to the right of the board. Roulette is a classic in the world of casino games. Along with blackjack and craps, roulette is a mainstay in any full service casino in the United States, and the game is even more popular in Europe, where it's a cultural and historical part of the gambling scene. In Europe people have been playing roulette since the 18th century and nowadays online roulette games are popular all over the world.Since at least 1796 when it was played in Paris roulette exists in the same form. Multiple games gave birth to roulette. To make a modern roulette game an Italian ball game called "biribi" and another wheel game that involved colors but not numbers were combined. In 1720 in England people began to play "Roly-poly" which consisted of black and white slots. Thus, roulette is a hybrid of both birib and Roly-poly.Understanding a game is the first step down the road of enjoying a game. And although knowledge of the game won't change your strategy or your chances of winning, it will increase the amount of pleasure you take away from the tables.
One subject that always comes up when people discuss winning at roulette or getting an edge is biased roulette wheels. To really find a bias in a wheel, you'd need to clock at least 4000 spins and realistically speaking, you won't find a bias towards red or black. At best you'll find a bias toward a specific set of numbers. Casinos don't want a biased wheel, because the house edge at roulette relies on the odds being 37 to 1 for each number over time. If certain individual numbers pay out more often than they should, the casino loses money. In this respect, a biased wheel isn't like a fixed game of blackjack. Casinos don't really have an interest in fixing any of their games since the house edge is in their favor on all of them. If you are able to find a biased wheel, and you've got a reasonable amount of confidence in the bias, you should bet individual numbers as much as you can. If you're in a rare situation where you have an advantage over the casino, you don't want to waste it on bets with low payouts. Something related to wheel bias dealer signature. Some roulette dealers have been spinning the ball for so long that they do it in exactly the same manner and at exactly the same speed every time. This produces a situation where some numbers might come up more often than other numbers. Usually if you're looking for this type of advantage play it's best to find an older dealer who looks really bored. You don't want someone who's really young and just learning how to spin the wheel. You want someone who's spun it so many times that it's become automatic and predictable. Since it would take about 4000 spins to determine with any degree of certainty any patterns on a roulette wheel, it would take a considerable amount of time to track that many spins. Realistically speaking, you might be better off learning to count cards or play poker really well instead of trying to get an advantage finding a biased wheel or a dealer with a signature.
In some casinos there exist some special rules.
In Prison/En prison
In case the ball stops at zero slot, the croupier will not collect red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets, they will stay on the table - in other words they are in prison. The players can win their original bet back during the next spin;if their bet wins they get their original bets back without additional gain. If the ball should land on zero once again the bets will remain in prison one more spin and so on. As this special rule reduced the casinos edge, it's greatly to the advantage for the players.
La Partage
When the ball falls on zero, red/black, odd/even and first half/last half bets will not be fully collected by the croupier. The croupier will collect only a half of player's bets and will return the rest to the players. La Partage rule reduces the casinos edge to 1.35 percent as well as In Prison rule.

Roulette Winning Stories

The most famous Roulette winner was William Nelson Damborough. He was famous for his ability to predict the path of the ball with only his eye and his brain. Damborough cleaned up regularly in Monte Carlo before the First World War, winning ?64,000 in a single month in 1910. The pace of the wheel and the roulette game may have been more conducive then, but it would still require something of a human computer.

Joe and Dolly Hornick of Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania, could be the luckiest couple in the world, at least when it comes to winning money. Last June the Lottery brought them $206,000. $21,000 was won three weeks later. And they had previous lottery scores of $2.5 million in 1989 and $68,000 in 1997. There's more to their good monetary fortune: After their June lottery bonanza they visited the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City and between the two of them hit jackpots of $480 (twice), $980, and $1,375. They list other slot scores of $9,970, $10,700, and $2,000 in recent years. On their way to Florida they bought a lottery ticket at one of the gas stations and they won again! The winning was $6,673. According to Joe the secret of his win was a buck and a lot of luck.

The most famous roulette story has to be that of Chris Boyd, a 40 year-old computer programmer from England. In January of 1994, Chris followed his dream to the casinos of Las Vegas for the ultimate roulette spin. Chris managed to save up $220,000 and he decided to put it on one spin of the wheel. It took him much time to find in Las Vegas a casino, in which he could place such a bet. Having got refusals in most of the casinos Chris went to Binion’s Horseshoe Club, which was the last casino he visited. The Horseshoe Club had a limit of $100,000 on a red/black bet, but they agreed to accept his wager. The casino also agreed to block out the double-zero on the wheel as this didn’t exist in the European version of the game that Chris was used to playing. Chris chose to place his bet on red. The casino and the dealer agreed to a few practice spins to ensure that full fairness for everyone concerned, and then the big spin came. The ball was spinned and it landed in 7,red. Chris was the winner, he won $220,000 and he promised never to play at casino again.
